I am in the process of refinancing my house and got 4.75% through Wells Fargo 2 weeks ago. Since then it has hovered between 4.875 – 5.25% at Wells Fargo and various other financial institutions. If you are considering refinancing or purchasing a new home, today might be a good day to lock in at 4.875% with no points and no origination fees. I have seen a few rates lower than this but all of them include points / origination fees.
