Performed well, but...
This is a good news/bad news story.First the bad news:When I opened the box, I saw no visible damage to either the shipping box, packaging box, or the laser level itself. However, upon picking up the laser level, I heard rattling inside. I tested it, and it worked OK, but I was concerned about what was going on inside the level, so I decided to take it apart. After doing so, I found a broken piece of clear plastic, which is part of what I believe to be an internal support (see photos). I contacted customer support via the manufacturer's website, and waited...and waited...and waited for a response--which never came, even after a week. At that point, I initiated a return with Amazon, and that went flawlessly. Based upon this experience, I'm awarding three conservative stars based upon finding internal damage that is inexplicable and the total lack of customer support.Now for the good news:This level really works well and is a lot of fun to use! It is auto-leveling, which is a HUGE benefit. I'm not sure how any carpenter or home handyman can live without one of these. I'm just not sure I'd buy THIS one, based on my lack of confidence in the product. Of course, hopefully your experience will be better!

This is a nice laser level that provides accurate horizontal and vertical lines. The unit comes with one Li-ion battery, a three-legged tabletop base, a magnetic L bracket base, a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, a storage bag, and a user manual.
What I like about the level:
The auto-leveling lines are clearly visible at 35+ feet indoors, and reasonably accurate based on comparisons with two bubble levels.
Outdoors on a cloudy day, the lines are just visible at 25+ feet without the need to use a laser receiver, more than adequate for my needs.
The level emits two lines that cross directly in front of the unit, one vertical and one horizontal. The vertical line extends not quite directly overhead to about 45 degrees below the horizontal line. The horizontal line projects side to side in an arc of about 135 degrees. This is not a 360-degree level.
The case appears to be well made and durable.
What did not impress me:
Outside in bright daylight you will need to use pulse mode with a laser receiver.
The unit comes with one battery. Although the unit can operate while connected to a separate power source, it would be nice to have a spare battery.
Neither the magnetic L bracket nor the table base can make fine adjustments. Based on my experience, the level works best on a tripod.
The level doesn’t come with a power adapter. Fortunately, I have plenty of 5V USB-A adapters laying around the house.
All in all, this laser level is a very capable and useful tool to have that should satisfy most users requirements, and it is reasonably priced for the features it provides. For me, the negatives are not significant game changers that would warrant more than a star deduction.
