The Little Tikes basketballs are 6-7" in diameter.

I did not know that a standard basketball for kids would not fit through the net. Any way to adjust a net or get a bigger net

The basketball that comes with the set is a 6" ball and a real basketball will not fit through the rim.

What is the rim size? What is the ball size to be used cor this? Can a real basket ball(Not plastic) can be used to play?

This is a great basketball hoop for small children. My grandson is 2 1/2 and I thought it would be too tall for him but it's perfect and it extends much higher. It is well-made.

Perfect size for our 3 yr old grandson. The 4-6 ft adjustable height will allow him to grow with it.

Larger little tikes basketball

I have bought over 4 different basketball hoops over the last year and didn't really like any of them for different reasons. Some were too flimsy and flipped over, some would spill water everywhere, somewhere too short. This one to me is perfect. The material is a heavy plastic, still light enough to move around but not so light to tip over while being used even without sand in it. I bought it for my four-year-old, but my 9 year old could easily still use this because it extends so high. Only issue I have is. The ball is made out of a light material so it gets stuck in the hoop at first, but once you use it a while it'll go through. I bought different basket balls, so easy fix. Also, the lid for the sand part was missing but that was due to shipping since the box was opened when I received it. In the picture the hoop is on the 2nd to the lowest setting and is easily 6ft from top of headboard to floor.

Great quality

The basketball hoop it’s self is great. My son loves it. The biggest and only issue I have is the rim won’t stay up. In less than a week the break away rim would fall too easily. We had to tape it and even then it still continued to fall. Only reason we have not returned it is because despite the rim my son still enjoys it. He just fix the rim after every shot.

Was fun while it lasted. The hoop would not stay up after a couple of uses. If the ball hit the rim it would fall right down. I tried to go to the little tikes site to see if there are replacement parts I could get, but this product doesn't show on there
