Very Happy!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having tried several Wi-Fi extenders, I gave up and bought a new wireless router. I currently have Spectrum internet, and it seems that their Wi-Fi router is not compatible with three of the Wi-Fi extenders I purchased. I had red on one of their forums that it was suggested to just replace the Wi-Fi router, and learned that they were charging me $6 a month for the router anyway. I purchased this router with hopes that I would get internet in my secondary garage that is located over 250 ft from my router. My house is a plaster house with concrete walls, and as mentioned, my secondary garage is located nearly 250 feet from the router. During a bandwidth test standing directly in front of the router, I reached over 100 megabits per second. Standing in the garage, I downloaded at just over 10 megabits. I'm very content what's that speed as it will run my firestick and Wi-Fi cameras with no issues. Very happy with this router, and we'll look into getting a additional access point or extender. Overall, very happy.

Fixed my problems with spectrum
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worth every penny. I had just got spectrum set up at home and had lagging issues with spotty wifi. I was using spectrums router and modem (spectrum charges a monthly fee for the router btw) . After a little research i found this product and decided to try it out. The steps were really easy and it fixed my issue. It even shows better download and upload speeds than what the spectrum representative had mentioned. If you have similar issues don’t hesitate especially since its on sale. Id def recommend

Q: QuestionCoverage area less than 900 sqf but involves several concrete walls separating rooms and doors must be closed. Would node at some midpoint help and what is the least expensive node option. MR6350 would connect to Dish fiber ethernet port.
Asked by Aztecaggie.
- A:Answer A solution for this sort of problem that a lot of people overlook is Powerline technology. A Powerline adapter plugs into your wall and it has an Ethernet port you connect to your router. You then put another Powerline adapter in another room that has a device you want to connect. Alternatively, you can plug a second router into the 'client' Powerline adapter creating a 2nd hot spot (or more) in your house. Configuring such a network is a bit more complicated than setting up a mesh network, but in my experience provides a much more reliable connection than WiFi by itself.
