Had a little trouble with the initial testing with the provided solution, but once I got that it's been fairly straightforward.
The “eject” for the strips after testing works really well. Be sure to aim it into the garbage because they fly really well.

Would recommend

First time purchaser of a blood glucose monitoring kit.  I did not know that you need to keep the strips from the air.  Instructions should have made this clear.  I wound up ruining more than a dozen strips before I realized the strips would give bad readings.  I had no way of determining this other than instinctively because when I received the kit the test solution had leaked inside of the packaging.  So no testing solution was available to do accuracy testing.  I wrote metene via email and I never heard back.  They do not have a phone number, everything is over the web.  In general, just a poor experience.

I'm worried when I see that my sugar levels are low after eating, I really don't know if the results are true, I hope they are the real results since I am pregnant.

Confused

The position you must use to add your bloods to the meter strip is completely difficult but in the end it doesn't matter because the reading is so far off. Numerous readings were compared with the Ulta One Touch and this machine's readings was all over the place while the One Touch was consistent. Don't waste your money.

Inaccurate Readings

One reading said 239!!!!!! Next one on a different finger said 126!!!!! And I have normal blood sugars. I wanted this to check tea etc to see if it breaks my fast. 
Also the other morning it read 114, I drank my fruits and greens, 30 minutes later it said 87. ALL over the map.

VERY INACCURATE

i purchased the item recently, i had lot of issues in this device

1. punching tool is not working
2. Device battery was empty
3. Not getting charge and even battery also replaced but still battery shows empty
4. Always results show an error

i will not recommend to buy this item. And also this items shows not returnable

Does not work and have messaged back and forth several
Times . Even sent a picture of the screen and still won't let me return it ?? Junk !!!

Don't work

I rarely write reviews, but I had to write this one. I'd give 0 stars if possible. I needed to return this product because we didn't need anymore when it arrived. However, Walmart instructed me to contact the seller directly for a return, which I did on two occasions. The seller, sent automated reply on both occasions. The annoying part is that the messages gave three useless (ineffective) options for a return. They also customized those messages as though they were sent from Walmart customer service, whereas it was sent from the seller. The product (unopened) is still decorating my room.

I bought this item thinking that was a good purchase with the conviction that this has the walmart support. I tried to returned and the vendor deny my petition alleging that they need a video and other bogus excuses. I will lost my money, but my recommendation is never buy something in walmart. Buy everything in Amazon the customer service there is impressive. walmart has disappointed me

this has been a very unpleasant experience.

It's to complicated for a older person with diabetes to worry about its old fashioned you have to put a blue drop on a test strip place it into the unit to make sure it is working properly  and the lancer unit is in to many pieces not easy to use and directions does not really explain much , once you receive the item there is no returns it's a medical device can not be returned,look elsewhere for a unit that's easy to use go on you tube to see how they are used
