What a find! Our garage door opener light is very dim and I often have trouble being able to see in the garage at night. I previously drove into the garage and the light turned off so quickly that I often couldn't see getting into the house. The Hyper Tough Motion light is just what I needed.

It was super easy to hang. I hung it next to my garage door light. I only needed a drill and pliers to install. The chains were very easy to hook. The instructions were very clear with great pictures labeling the parts. I had no questions on how to install the light.

The light is so bright. I cannot express how happy I am to see clearly. I have a long narrow garage and the brightness covers the dark recesses of the garage. I now see parts of my garage that I never could see in the dark before the installation of this motion sensored light. It is great that it stays on for 10 minutes after motion is detected. It turns off after 10 minutes, eliminating wasted energy costs. I can unload the car or finish a phone call and I will have light the entire time, turning off after I am gone in 10 minutes. I am not wasting power keeping a light on all the time.

My only regret is that I was not aware of the Hyper Tough motion light years ago. I now can see clearly when entering my garage at night!

Great Bright Motion Light

My husband and I are revamping the garage of a new house and this light is exactly what we needed because it allows us to do the work without having a light in or away. It was super easy to set up and the instructions were very well written. The lamp has a motion sensor which you can opt to turn off or on we have opted to turn it on. We liked that it did not require any hard wiring and it was just a plug-in model. It has a pull chain to turn it on or off but we just use the motion sensor. The light is very bright and we like where it is currently and how much light it sheds in the garage but we will move it when we are done renovating and that’s the perk of having a plug-in shop light.

Simple to set up!

They are very bright! This is a 50ft long area. I do wish the power cords were longer so I didn't have to space so close together and maybe that when you have them linked you could pull one chain for all 4 but neither are really a big deal!! I have 2 linked and then 4 linked. No issues. I do not have motion detection set on. One has been hit with a softball pitch and didn't bust. Very happy. Ordering more now.

Very Bright!

I absolutely love these lights, especially with the price. i came online to buy more and saw the bad reviews.  I dont know what happened with theirs - but my 2 (yes, there was 2 for the price) are perfect.  I actually put them in my kitchen, just laying on top of the cabinets. My light switch is on the opposite side of the kitchen so I always had to walk thru the dark to turn on light. Now I dont even bother with those because these are so bright and I love the motion activated part. Also will save money because it turns off after about ten minutes with no human movement. I have not been paid or given anything for my review, I saw someone say that the good reviews had to be because of some incentive...and thats why I decided to let yall know that not all are bad...mine are great. Gonna order  more now, yall have a good day

love these lights so much, Im ordering more

This was so incredibly easy to set up. I initially thought that I would go ahead and put it above my sink in the kitchen. But it was very very bright too bright for my kitchen. So I went ahead and put it out into the garage and it was just super easy to set up. I like the fact that I didn't have to mess around with bulbs or anything it was all ready to go. A really cool feature about this that I've never seen before is the fact that it will shut off on its own after 10 minutes of no motion. And apparently you can link up to four of these but it's really bright so I didn't need anything more for my garage. I think for me just based on how easy it is simple to put together and use I give it five stars definitely recommend. And it's super lightweight.

So easy!

Sooooo bright. I pulled it out of the box and plugged it in immediately in a dark space and it lit up like the Fourth of July. I am really impressed. Can’t wait to hang it and I love the pull chain it has that work shop vibe. It comes with chains to hang so you can decide how low (or high) you’d like it to be. Has a few feet of cord to find an outlet or attach to an extension cord or power strip. It’s ultra slim but has mighty light!

Blinded by the light

My garage/shop has household type ceiling lights plus the garage door opener bulbs. I was looking for something to hang above my storage shelves with motion detection and this is Perfect! This light is about 36" long x 2.5" wide x 1.5" deep. The electrical cord is 5' long and has a polarized plug (1 pin wider than the other). The chain pull cord is 10" long but isn't needed if you switch the light to PIM ON for motion detection. The light comes with small hooks and chains to hang it, or it can be flush mounted. It also comes with every other screw/anchor/tie I think you might want. Maybe the best of all is that is has an electrical outlet (also polarized) in the non-cord end so that you can add more lights without needing another wall outlet. Oh, did I mention it's really bright :)

Sooo bright - and motion detector!

My husband uses the light over his workshop bench. He’s restoring a 1981 Pontiac Firebird just like he had in high school. The light has been a great asset for him. The led light is very bright and helps to illuminate a large area at once. 

The light is easy to install. It took my husband about 10 min to install with no issues. The instructions indicate the tools needed for installation. He decided to install ours near the wall because our garage has outlets midway the wall. We chose not to install it near the garage door opener over the vehicle only because we have storage bins installed from the ceiling near the garage opener. We didn’t want the area to be overly cluttered. He decided to hang the light from the ceiling over a work space rather than install it over the car. He wanted to be able to easily relocate the light in the future if chooses to do so. 

The light is very bright but does not get hot to the touch. So there are no concerns of the light burning anything if it comes in contact with items in the area it’s used. It makes a great addition to a garage, closet or area that needs light. The light is not heavy at all but it is sturdy enough to last even with the roughest treatment.

Sturdy & Bright

Love how bright this is. Also, it's VERY lightweight so easy to move around. Finally, I like that it doesn't require electrical installation. I needed a portable solution, and this is good. Probably would have preferred a battery-operated one, but that wasn't available, so this is good.

Nice and bright

It's very disappointing that the motion sensor doesn't work. It was easy to install. Only needed one person to install. The string is easy to pull. It is aesthetically pleasing. It's pretty small but is bright. There's an on/off button for the function of the motion sensor. There's an outlet on the side to plug in another light or whatever you need to plug in.

Dangerous item! Plugged the second one into the first and it blew sparks and the first one stopped working.  Spent an hour hanging these perfectly and then the first one blew sparks and died.  I am glad it did not burn my house down.
