Super cool electric go-kart! The charger is built into the unit which is very convenient. It has an acceptable weight limit and top speed. Special coating on the tires allow for drifting and speed control

Vrom vroom!

My 4 year old is LOVING THIS RACECAR! He feels like he is the best and fastest around in it! He has been on it so much in the past few days his thumb is red from pushing the button so much! He has a great time! Easy to put together. Very surprised how long the battery lasts. It works great! Very pleased 10 out of 10!

So much fun!!

I was given the Kalee Asphalt Racer 12 V Go Kart in exchange for a fair and impartial review. First, this go kart was difficult to put together. The instructions were in picture format and some pictures were very small and difficult to see. Kalee offers an instruction video however I did not have internet access at the time. I had my 2 1/2 year old and my 4 year old be the drivers. The Kalee go kart was tested in the house on carpet, wood and vinyl flooring. Then outside on pavement. The tires are hard plastic. There are two speeds that are set by a button on the back of the go kart. A simple switch on the steering wheel makes the car go backward and forward. And a small red button on the steering wheel moves the car. There are no foot pedals. There is a seatbelt for added protection. The children were able to drive the go kart smoothly after just a few times of instruction. The various types of flooring and pavement didn't seem to make a difference in the performance of the Kalee Asphalt Racer. I believe the 12 volt battery was just the right amount of power. My tallest child is 41 inches and had plenty of leg room. The weight limit is 66lbs. The children had an enormous amount of fun! Laughing at each other and while they were driving around various obstacles. The adults had plenty of chuckles too.

TOO Much Fun!

This is perfect for 3-6 year olds!!! Works really well. Would work better on a paved road. Easy to adjust the length and very simple for a child to use. Love that I don’t have to take a battery pack out to charge. Can just hook the charger up to the back of the go kart. Highly recommend!

Cute!!

This thing has so many features and even has our kids getting along. So win win. Our boys are 4 & 6. And it fits them both perfectly thanks to the adjustable bottom for the go carts length. The speed is adjustable on the back. A 2 mph setting and the 5 mph. They've other 12v 5mph ride ons and I do have to say this seems like it's a lot slower than them. And it slows almost to a stop if you turn the wheel to hard when driving. But I'm okay with it. It stops them from getting hurt on all the hills we have. It also has a seat belt. It took about 25 minutes to put together and the kids have used it every single day since. And they're more than willing to take turns, which is a shock. And it encourages them to use their imagination and fine motor skills. And also slightly teaches them driving skills for the future as well. It never seems to take more than 3 hours to charge. It definitely does not work in the grass. So it must be driven on asphalt like the name says. Luckily we're in an apartment and theres tons of parking lots and sidewalks. It lasts an hour and a half before it dies. At least for us it does. And the kids have a blast on it every single day.

Awesome ride on!!

My first impression of this was it is very well made. Immediately I noticed that you can adjust the length easily and I thought that was very nice because it will fit smaller toddlers but then you can also change it as they grow. Assembly was not too complicated. It says fits ages 3 to 6 and I have a very tall 3-year-old but it fits him with plenty of room to grow. It is easy to charge. I like that in the back it has two different speed settings so for smaller kids you can set it lower. It has a nice seat belt. It was very easy for my toddler to drive and handles great. It had no issues going up and down off the sidewalk and travels with ease. My toddler absolutely loves it and he will definitely be driving it for the next few years. I highly recommend.

Perfect for growing kids!

First, assembly was surprisingly easy, instructions were clear with everything labeled correctly and pictures to make sure you got it right. The only problem I ran in to, which was my own, you have to make sure you push the steering column piece all the way in to fit the wheels on. Other than that, it was all simple. I don't know if it's always the case, but mine arrive fully charged and ready to go. Charging is super easy, nothing to move or anything, simply plug it in to the spot in the back. Comes with lots of extra stickers to personalize the kart including different numbers. It has 2 speed options which are super easy to change between while also not too easy that your kid can change it on their own. Now my absolute favorite part of this for my young ones, NO PEDALS! Everything is controlled via the steering wheel. 2 simple buttons- red to go and then a forward and back arrow to pick direction. This has been wonderful for my 3 year old that doesn't understand pedals, she immediately figured out how to move. It's just wonderful. No issues with steering around. It's not the most powerful thing, but it doesn't need to be. The charge holds good and my kids have had fun with this for a week straight. Ofcourse you can't go crazy off road or anything like that, the tires are hard plastic-like material, but its great in the driveway. With different sizable options for the kids and ease of control, this is a win!

Great and Easy!

My son loves this go cart!! He’s four and he used to have a 6 volt go cart and this one is 12 volts so it’s much faster but still safe for my baby to ride and still feel like a big boy! We charged it about 6 hours before he used it and it lasted all day. The first thing my son wants to do every day is ride it. It’s hours and hours of fun for him! Not to mention he loves the cool blue color!! And another good thing is he can ride this until he’s about 7 years old! The most important part for me is that it has parental sped control! This was definitely a plus for me!

This go cart is so fun. It was pretty easy to put together. Love the rubber on the wheels makes for great fun. My daughter just turned 5 and does good on it. There is 3 different settings on the seat for less or more room. So far battery life has been good. Great power cart lots of fun times.

I am so disappointed with this ride on! We got this for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas and she was so excited to drive this thing all over. She was having a blast and then it just stopped working. After only a few hours, the cart just pulses when you hit the go button. I can’t exchange it for a new one, can only return it. My daughter is so sad! We even looked for parts to try and fix it but we can’t find the parts anywhere. So disappointed with this company and will never purchase from them again.
