The picture was a little distorted at first but then I changed the setting in the Wii from standard TV to widescreen and it displays just fine, no visual noise. The audio is fine, too.
(My camera polishes off some of the grain to be expected in 720p, but there're no moving bars or snow and the motion is smooth).
