We recommend placing infants in the jogger once they can hold their head up unassisted.  The seat does recline but not to a completely flat position.

Hello is this stroller good for a newborn up to 6 months old. Does it recline for a younger infant and raises for an older child?

No, the XCEL-R8 can only accept Baby Trend infant car seats.

I'm so happy I purchased this stroller! it has been a game changer for walks on the uneven sidewalks in my neighborhood. I love it, and it's well worth the price.

I absolutely LOVE this jogger! We live in the country so big wheels are a must. Its so smooth and doesnt bounce my daughter around like crazy. The only complaint I have is I had to air up the tires because they were flat. Honestly no big deal for me because we have a compressor but I know there are some people who dont. But over all an amazing buy!

Love the stroller except one thing. The rear wheels do not have valve stems and will not hold air.  I have to air them up every time I want to use them.  A person should not have to do this before taking their little one out for a stroll.

It seems like a good jogging stroller. However, one of it's tires went flat the first time we aired it up, without even using it yet.   That was disappointing.

I bought a new product. has scratches and some dirty spots. Did they send me used or refurbished product? it also came preassembled so I really suspect it's used.  Supplier needs to resolve it.

It was great in the beginning then it started to do a weird shake while trying to actually jog! It's almost like it's not meant for jogging OR rough surfaces. So it's hit or miss when we take it out for our daily walks. It may or may not shake violently. And of course when I was fed up and wanted to return it, the 1 year was already up. You get what you pay for.

I purchased this jogger after renting one while on a beach vacation. During our rental use, we would go on 2+ mile jogs on pavement with the stroller and the front wheel would randomly sputter. There was one time where the front wheel sputter and I actually fell over the stroller. Checked it out and locked the wheel moving forward and had no issues. Because it was a rental I thought it was an isolated incident. I loved how smooth the stroller pushed, the material it was made of, the light weight, and how easy it was to maneuver with the front wheel unlocked. I purchased one after returning from vacation. After one month of using the stroller, the front wheel (when unlocked) began doing the same thing. It sputters when you are jogging. I pulled up reviews and realized this seems to occur often. This is by NO MEANS A JOGGING STROLLER. In fact, it is dangerous to jog with it while the wheel is unlocked. The ease of maneuver with the wheel unlocked makes it easy to jog with and more light weight. The minute you lock the wheel it looses those features. Regardless until they fix the wheel issue, do not buy it.

The stroller looks great however I have not been able to use it because the front tire is next to impossible to inflate. My husband used a spare air cylinder from his bicycle to inflate the tire because you cannot get a pump even close. By the time I was ready to use the stroller, the tire was flat. Would love to return it, but I bought it in the winter for my grandson.

Lousy design on the front wheel. Dont purchase!

I've owned this stroller an entire year now and STILL cannot get the tires aired up due to the horrible spoke design. This is by FAR the worst and purchase I've ever made.

DO NOT BUY! Complete waste of money!!
