I have been looking for a circular saw that is no corded. I have a lot of the 40v Greenworks products, so I thought I'd try this one. It is really nice and easy to use. The only issue is the blade did stop a couple times, maybe the allen wrench needs to tighten the nut a little tighter - and I was super disappointed in the owners manual, so I'll just fiddle around with it until I figure that out. Otherwise it works great.

This circular saw is awesome! I’m building a raised garden and this saw cuts everything (with the correct blades), like a hot knife through butter. I love all the greenworks tools! I have a chain saw, impact drill, regular drill, and the hedge clippers. All the tools are great for home and work projects. The batteries last all day long on a single charge. Highly recommend all their products.

I own many Greenworks products: 1) Cordless 16" lawn mower, 2) Cordless leafblower, 3) Cordless Dual Line Weedwacker, 4) Cordless 24" Hedge Trimmer. I wanted to replace my old, corded Skilsaw with a cordless one.
I purchased this saw and tested it fully:
Likes: Its lightweight, the smaller size and no cord allow the full view of what you are cutting. The built in led light is bright and allows full illumination of cut lines. The base plate adjustments are made easy with the flip lever adjust. This saw cuts 45 degree cuts well. I like the dust collector port attached to the saw debris outlet. This saw has a blade brake that stops the blade from spinning as soon as the start button is released.

Dislikes: I had to buy the charger, battery, case, and blade removal hex key separately...This should be sold as a complete kit with the saw...Approximately $180.00 is what it cost for the saw with accessories. The saw was strong, but did not possess all the gusto of its corded brethren.
