I mainly store and freeze with glass storage. Through the years, I got tired of plastic and finally decided to go with glass. This  wonderful set completes my collection! We're not supposed to microwave plastics, so these glass containers can go from the fridge/freezer to the microwave. I try to go "greener" as much as possible in my life.  NOTE: Do not microwave the plastic covers! They will not hold their form, as they are plastic. I use wax paper or a microwave shield.

Go greener with Anchor glass storage

Made the order a month ago, finally received my set. The original order was cliamed to be delivered however, never showed up. Looks like a great set, the came a little dusty, the lids fit great, nothing was broken and nothing seems missing.

Finally arrived

It came with 2 broken pieces and 5 chipped pieces. I have had Anchor glassware before and found it to be of decent quality, but am appalled at the packaging/quality of this set, and the response of Walmart's customer service. I had ordered it online and do not live that close to a store, but was told I could not get a replacement and could only get a full refund if I bring it into the store. I am giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because the Anchor glassware I have had before has been fine, and the parts of the set that aren't damaged seem fine. It might be a good product still if you buy it in-store and can open the box and inspect it first.

Not packed well; various pieces damaged   broken.

I got this on sale for and it's a great deal but the box was dented in during delivery. I hurry up and open the box as soon as I got it. Lucky only the pie tray and measuring cup was the thing that has tiny chipped on it. The reset was OK. If it wasn't on sale and if one of the other things I actually needed was broken I would be more upset.

Great deal but need work on delivery

My husband used these for work once and heated up his food for 30 seconds. As it started heating up, it started to 'deflate' before his eyes. It says microwave safe, but its not. Returned the next day.

Anchor Hocking of 2Qt 2L, came with some damage in the center of the glass. Wish the other pieces don't have.

I was heating up some leftover taco meat in one of the bowls and it exploded in the microwave.  That was the first time the bowl was ever used and wasn't in the fridge 1st either.  Less than 1 minute in the microwave and it shattered all over in there, ruining the leftover meat.  Now I have a broken bowl, big mess in the microwave, and bo leftovers to eat for dinner after a long day at work.  Definitely do not recommend to anyone.

Walmart sell returned and damaged items!

These need to be recalled I have used them to make enchiladas several times and today it exploded in my oven who can I talk to about this

If i could give this zero stars i would. upon using the large baking dish it exploded in my oven 10 mins after i put it in the oven ruining our dinner, cutting my hand while cleaning up and had glass everywhere. very dissapointed
