    I am a 76 year old grandmother and great grandmother and have never done Legos before except for the giant ones when the kids were little. All of my grandchildren and their husbands or girlfriends LOVE doing Lego. I bought all of them sets for Christmas. They kept encouraging us to try it. So I bought this thinking my husband would love doing it. It was frustrating to the max but mainly because I realized there were two crucial parts missing. I asked for a replacement and returned the first. I received the replacement yesterday and I worked on it for a few hours. My husband wanted nothing to do with it. Everything went well until I attempted to attach the branches and then most of it collapsed. Trying to go back and figure out what and how I needed to get it reassembled was extremely difficult. I’ve finished, for the most part, as you can see by the photo, but my granddaughter sent me a link to buy spray glue so, until I receive that, I’m leaving it alone. I’m amazed that I had the patience and determination to continue. That is NOT my nature. I enjoyed the challenge and had fun even though it was frustrating at times. I don’t know if I’ll try another set but I would encourage anyone, no matter how old, to give it a try. My grandchildren had fun seeing the videos as I went along and offered tips and encouragement. So, all in all, I’m glad I bought it.

Overall really easy to follow along and complete, and it helps that the end result is so pretty! We put it on display in my living room and put one of the cute pink frogs on the edge of the Lego pot.

    My wish is that Lego sells a bonsai tree without the leaves or pink frogs so that I can set up my green bonsai tree without having leftover tree leaves/cherry blossom parts!!
