I bought these partly for their small size, for use in a mini fridge. I'd previously owned some completely silicone trays that made large square cubes. I loved the size of them, but the trays did not last, developing holes within a year. My love, a small in stature woman, had lots of trouble removing the cubes from those. These however are perfectly easy to remove, due to the silicone bottoms. I've used these for a few months now, so far so good, but I do wonder if durability will be an issue over time. I like products that last, and will pay a premium for it. The lids I do not use often, but if you're stacking the trays with water in them they are necessary. I would have preferred a lidless, stackable design, but for the price, whatever. If these don't have to be replaced for five years, I will be impressed.

Our icemaker is broke....now I have to make ice old school. Product was fine, if you overfill it squishes water out when you snap the lid on so do it over a sink. One of my lids is chipped, but it still works to cover the tray. Silicone bottom helps pop out if they get stuck

I really like these ice trays, make good sized ice cubes, easy to get the cubes out and they stack nicely with the covers.

I was a bit skeptical because of the silicone bottoms on these, but after using them a few times now, this should be the norm for all ice trays imo. Once you crack the tray and flip it over they practically jump out and if they don't fall out a quick tap to the silicone and it's out. Some of the easiest to use. I've yet to have any problems getting any ice out of them.

The covers can be a bit finicky to get off but eh, it is what it is. They don't affect how the trays hold ice or anything so i won't detract anything. They have little tabs on opposite corners that help lift them up, the really should have them on all four corners. The two without them can be a pain sometimes to lift up.

Other than the corners on the covers i really don't have anything bad to say about them. I needed some new ones for our fridge that didn't come with an ice maker and these were spot on. I use ice with everything cold i drink. I keep a square ice cream tub in the freezer for ice. I am going to def order another set so i can keep my ice tub full of ice.

I do recommend these.
