Replaced an older hose that has seen better days and I realized how heavy a garden hose is compared to this one. Very happy with it so much so I will be getting another to replace the front yard hose as well.

I was so excited when I got one of those lightweight flexible hoses that inflate with water and deflate when done, but I've found that to be a complete pain to use. It's hard to wind up on the hose reel when done, since it's so flexible, it doesn't easily wind without using two hands and a foot to hold everything in place. Plus, I feel the inner tube loosened from the hose (normal, most likely, in this flexible hosing), and I don't think it's strong. So, I was glad to try this hose and SO FAR, SO GOOD.

I've only been using it a couple of days, but I did hook it up to my power washer and it hooked up easily without leaking. It screwed onto my house tap without issue, though I did use some teflon tape to make sure it was secure.

I didn't pay attention to see if it was brass fittings prior to ordering, my bad. . . it's not. It's aluminum. However, aluminum doesn't rust, so I think we may have good luck with it. If it rusts, I will be very upset!

It winds up on my hose reel nicely. It fits my water sprayer attachment well.

So far, this is a useful hose that works well. I'm pleased.

This is truly an amazing hose. It came to me pretty tightly coiled, but when I stretched it out on the lawn it lay very comfortably flat. You know how most hoses kink when you try to move them around? Not this one. The sides of the hose are too thick to fold. The aluminum fittings are substantial and do not leak. I use it for a motion-detector sprayer, which means it is full of water all night long. As you can imagine, leaking is my biggest worry! I am very confident that this hose will last for many years of good service. Best hose I ever had. SUPPLEMENT: I'm very disappointed! After only a couple of weeks the hose leaks between the female connector and the ferrule. Totally useless for my purposes. We repaired the hose and now it leaks on the male end the following season.

This hose is a solid medium duty hose that balances light weight, a durable build, and potable grade materials. It's not perfect, but those compromises are nicely balanced. The first thing you notice is the light weight, which is remarkable. Next you'll notice the robust connectors, which provide a solid seal and hold up to strain nicely. Lastly you'll notice that it almost kinks (quite easily), but it never really kinks.

All of this adds up to a hose that's just good enough in use, while coming at a fair price and being easy to lug around. Most people won't need materials that can be used for drinking, but I find it to be a nice addition (especially without kinks, as potable water hoses seem to love to kink). This allows you to fill pools (you can't stop pups of kids from drinking from those) or whatever is needed.
