East to set up; already synced out of package.The switches on the sides of the main unit do not need a heavy hand to adjust. Too hard and you can break them; a light touch is all you need. Directions pretty clear. Only "issue" is you have to figure out which ones are volume, tone and color. But not too hard. For the money, good value. Great for hard of hearing folks. Great doorbell. Compact, but loaded with options. Easy to set up and mount. Very good high volume level, can be heard easily. Can't speak to longevity yet, but It seems to be a quality component. I would purchase this doorbell again if needed.
