Great starter bread maker!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems like all our friends had one and they all rave about it. But me knowing my limitations, I didn't know if I was going to continue to make bread or if I was going to be good at it. So at the price point, it was a "why not" moment. Love it! Still trying out recipes, but so far so good. Makes the house smell great and it was very easy to use.

Perfect Loaf
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am thrilled with the performance and features of this bread machine. My tips for success: Be sure to read instructions thoroughly especially if you are a novice. Secondly, measure accurately. Some reviewers complained about the Basic loaf recipe in the instruction booklet. Up for the challenge, that was the first one I tried. Tip: Hold back about 1/4 cup of water at first. While dough is kneading, lift the lid and observe the product. If it looks dry and flour is not mixing in add 1 Tbs water at a time. Your dough should not be too wet and should form a round ball that does not stick to sides of pan. I needed only 1 extra Tbs of water. Results were perfect.

Honest Bread Machine Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This bread machine is really easy to use, and makes delicious, hot bread. I’ve only used recipes I find online rather than the recipes they provide because other reviews recommended this approach when choosing a recipe. The downsides of this machine is really only the cleanup in the instances the bread rises and touches the inside of your lid; this doesn’t happen often, but when it does, I have to wait a day or two for it to dry, then I scrape it off with a tool that won’t scratch the bread maker. I bought this during one of Best Buy’s deal of the days, and I’ve been happy with the price I paid and the bread it makes.

SO EASY!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I paid $39 for this item. This Bread maker has won me over. It's so easy to use. Just put your water and oil in together, cover with your mixed flour, salt, sugar, placing your yeast on top, then let the machine do its thing. In about 3 hours you have HOT AND FRESH BREAD in your hands. Don't forget to do your machine prep before using the first time.

Q: QuestionDoes the paddle go up in the bread after it is baked and has to be fished out or I am doing something wrong?
Asked by Patty.
- A:Answer That paddle will usually stay in the bread loaf (baked in). They give you a utensil to help pull it out. I hold the hot loaf in place with a potholder and pull the paddle out with the bent looking end and place the paddle on the cooling rack by the bread to cool off before I wash it. Taking it out while the bread is still hot keeps it from tearing too big a hole in the bread.

Q: QuestionAre people following the recipe from the instructions? Can't get a successful loaf of bread even following a simple recipe included in the booklet. Even bought bread machine yeast , no luck.
Asked by tr4gik.
- A:Answer I used the basic bread recipe from the back of the book and didn't care for it. I downloaded a bread recipe from the internet. Put the wet ingredients first (1 cup lukewarm water, 1/3 c lukewarm milk, 3 T butter), then add dry (3 3/4 cups flour, 3 T sugar, 1 1/2 tsp salt), then add 2 tsp yeast. I did used bread flour and bread machine yeast, but the recipe just says all-purpose flour and active dry yeast or instant yeast. I had already bought the bread flour and bread machine yeast, so I used it.

Q: QuestionDid anyone receive the bread maker without the ding to say the bread was finished or another ding after 3 minutes to add something?
Asked by Patty.
- A:Answer Never thought about it but my bread maker does not ding. Works fine but would not know when to add anything.

Q: QuestionI’m new to this, instructions say bake for 10 mins First time with nothing inside Do you have to do this every time? My 1st try was packed mix, didn’t cook all the way I set for sweet pumpkin bread, 2nd one was even more not cooked Please advise
Asked by Peanutt.
- A:Answer No, you don't have to heat for 10 min. each time, just before first time use only. I am getting acquainted with using mine yet, but I did make a packaged banana bread mix. I mixed mine up in a bowl, took out the pan paddle and poured mixture in. I used #14 bake program which is 1 hour bake time only. I could tell by looks and checking that it wasn't quite done when the hour was up. I unplugged machine plugged back in and pressed start again (for an hour again), but I let it bake only for another 20 min. The end result .....I think I could of left bake for another 10 min. but didn't turn out too bad. Next time I will bake for 1 1/2 hour. Hope this helps a little. For me so far trial and error. Good luck to you!
