No, this bike does not have a coaster brake.

Love this bike very durable. It was also an easy set up you will need a pliers an Allen key and a screw driver.

My 3 years old  son loves this bike, we can go walking exercise while he rides  his bike.  The handle is a great a addition to keep him on my side.

Nice Bike and easy to assemble

Everything looks good but is missing the handle for adult to push with

shipping: box arrived with heavy damage on the corners and had been restapled and taped. there was also a large smudge of dirty grease on the side of the box with forced me to put the bike together outside.  I received one text saying it would be delivered March 30. nothing arrived.  received another text saying it would be delivered April 1 but nothing arrived again. Received text on April 2 saying it would be delivered that day and it finally arrived. As I put the box in the garage I could hear numerous loose pieces freely moving inside the box. I was hoping maybe it was just loose screws but when i opened the box small bits of broken plastic fell out. 
Product: even with the broken pieces of plastic in the box, I started to put together the bicycle because my son was so excited to see it. Big disappointment.. as I went to screw in the pedals into the crank, one simple did not fit. Seems like the thread on the pedal did not match the threads on the crank. Obviously this bicycle is not usable with just one pedal so I had to return it at the store. I greatly appreciate the store being able to return mail order items :). Anyway, while at the store I happened to see the same bicycle on clearance. What great luck i thought to myself. But upon further inspection of the display, the same left pedal was very loosely attached to the crank and fell out when I touched it. Obviously this is a manufacturing defect. To make a long story short, I would never recommend this product and perhaps I will think twice about ordering online when I can buy on preassembled in the store. Be sure to inspect the preassembled bikes as well.
