Very little assembly required before use. Attached all the hoses, measured 2 ounces of the non-rinse shampoo, filled the water container and sat it on the carpet. My very timid Great Pyrenees/Lab was not phased when I hit the on button. The BarkBath did what it said it would do. Cleaned and freshened my dogs coat. She was a little timid with the vacuum action, but quickly got over it. After the bath her coat was a little damp. The water on the tile floor was less than 100 ml. When she shook very little water came off her. She loved the attention and loved not getting wet in the tub. Great product.

My dog’s mortal enemy is my vacuum cleaner. She is passionate about attacking it unless I lock her in another room. So I expected to have a big hassle introducing her to the bark bath. So far it’s not an issue. I’m taking it slowly and haven’t yet tried a full on, single sitting bath, but another couple of weeks should see her relaxed with it. The only hassle is that I live in the U.K. and so far I haven’t found any outlet in the U.K. that will ship me the Bissell shampoo to use with it. I don’t yet know what I’ll do when the bottle runs out that came with it.

Oh my God this is the best since sliced bread. It was so much easier to bathe my pepe. I felt that he was cleaner than the traditional sticking them in the tub getting water all over the place. This is a must-have for anybody wanting to maintain a clean animal that loves to get bathed with no fuss. The machine is quiet because my Pepe tend to attack anything that is loud so this was an awesome experience for me and him. I highly recommend it.
