A needed hair item

Was really worried about some of the negative reviews that I saw but I still purchased it anyway and I don't regret it one bit! As soon as I got it I obviously had to plug it in to see how it worked and I could say that I am pretty impressed. It heated it up really quickly

$70 for a chi straightener it's a no brainer

Have only had a chance to use this flat iron a few times but so far I really like it.  I am able to get a little more height on the top and it smooths out the hair around my face.  The price at Wal-Mart.com was the absolute best.  Item arrived in two days with free shipping.  Great value.

Great Flat Iron at a super price

I don't typically write reviews. The CHI G2 flat iron is an excellent professional results tool. The passes at the roots of my hair are not uncomfortable/hot on my scalp.  The previous flat iron I owned for 10  years began to pull my hair. Passes at the roots of my hair were uncomfortably hot. I decided to purchase a professional quality tool this time around. The plates glide smoothly over my hair with no pulling/tugging. I don't feel heat on my scalp yet I can straighten the roots of my hair. The auto heat setting of 370 degrees is ideal for my hair type. Results look like the salon results I get at the salon. In my opinion, it is critical to use a good quality heat protectant.  I purchased professional quality heat protectant and leave-in conditioner to use with the CHI G2.  I believe the products helped with the results I got with the CHI G2.

I bought these flat irons for my mom as a birthday gift! She says these flat irons are great, and heat super fast. They left her hair sooo smooth and silky and very healthy looking. Im glad I purchased these flat irons for her they are really worth the money I paid for them. The storage pouch included was an added plus! I plan to purchase a 2nd pair for myself!!

Great pair of flat irons

CHIs only work for my hair type and this one did more than I expected. Normally after straightening my hair( I have very very kinky curl hair btw) it'll frizz up in the next hour. The Chi products I have may of helped with this too but after using the straightener my hair was nice and silky, I haven't had to re-straighten it either!! definitely recommend.

Love it!

This hairstyling flat iron is excellent. My hair is very thick and wavy, but when used correctly my hair looks amazing. The heat works quickly, but does not dry my hair. My only complaint is the plug which is bulky and does not operate  with ease; also the unit could be lighter, but it works so fast and well that is a minor problem. I would definitely recommend this product compared to others I have used.

Professional look

It's ok, I got it on sale, otherwise I would pass. It's nice and smooth, mainly because it is new. Has a nice long cord, a little cover for it, heats up fast. It heats up fast and goes to a pretty high temperature, it just doesn't feel hot. In the past, with other flat irons, my hair would feel hot after using, but not with this one. I'm sure that's a good thing, but it seems I have to put it up to 410-415 to get the result I'm looking for

It's good, but not great

The only reason I paid more for the G2 as opposed to getting the regular Chi is because I NEED the automatic shot off. I can't remember turn it off!!  But the auto shut off does not work. Without that feature, it's a regular Chi.  I plan to return the item.
