As A Gift

This is a awesome gift for a child it has so many parts and is not overwhelming to put together pieces have great color and when it's together it really runs.Great quality and keeps them busy for days a really good gift instead of something computerized this would be a good gift to keep a kid busy.And even if your older it's fun there's tons of parts and tons fun.

Magical toy

The K'NEX Dragon's Revenge Thrill Coaster has just under 600 parts and it took some time to build it. My 11 year old son likes buildng these and although its not recommended for smaller kids my 6 year old also had a great time helped. My boys also has other K'NEX set and they all can be connect to one another so they are able to build all kind of things with there wild imagination. It has a working motorized chain lift that takes two AA batteries that are not included. The kids are enjoying this every time it is on and with a light up car it also looks amazing in the dark. I think he finally has it setup how he likes because its been a few days now and he has not took it apart or added more pieces to it.

It has a lot of parts

I have owned several k nex building sets over the years. I built them myself as a child, and it's fun now that I am a parent to build again, but this time with my children. This dragon roller coaster set was very large and I was very excited to try it out! I would say it took around 6 hours to build it, but I ddI it off and on over the course of a few days (busy working mother) the end result was definitely worth it though! My kids absolutely LOVE it! They play with it for endless hours so that means endless hours of exploring and no fighting! The car flashes when it is going on the track- which is an added Bonus for my kids because they love seeing it light up! The price is reasonable for the quality of the set. There was a minor issue at first with the black track being lose that launches the car, but after tightening, it worked just fine and no longer gets caught up. The dragon flapping his wings at the top of the set is just icing on the cake!! My young boys (ages 4 and 8) absolutely love it and think it's the coolest toy ever. It was moderately difficult to put together, but mostly just time consuming— honestly though, that's most of the fun is building! Great product!

Dragon set

My son is nine and he tends to get easily discouraged if something is too hard for him. This was pretty easy enough to keep him interested but just challanging enough to make the fun of building it last a few hours. (Hey a few hours of time to my self.

Perfect for my 9 year old

K'NEX Dragon's Revenge Thrill Coaster is an awesome toy. My son really likes this. Some of the pieces look as if they'll break easily but besides that this K'nex Revenge Thrill Coaster toy is fantastic. Should be played with on a hard surface no smaller kid's should play with this toy at least I think that.

No complaints

After a few days off and on the kids are still trying to get it fully assembled and running. Its been a challenge for sure, but in a good way. Will end up needing some help with it I think, but they have not lost their enthusiasm or excitment for it. It does have ALOT of small parts and will require some time and patience. It has really been helping my boys (8 and 10) work together as a team which is a BIG win in my book!! I love the fact that they are using their hands and their minds. It is nice to see a toy that is challenging them at this level and they haven't given up.  Some toys go together too fast with ZERO challenge, then wind up in the closet collecting dust. That is not the case with this one. Would definately recommend for kids who enjoy building and seeing how things work mechanically. A++

Cool and Challenging

Oh my gosh, so many parts! I definitely recommend using some sort of container to hold all the parts while putting this together so that they don't go missing. This takes awhile to put together, but the kids love building things, and this was fun and challenging for them. The instruction book is great, with step-by-step instructions and lots of detail and pictures for them to follow, thank goodness. Once it was all put together, they got a huge kick out of it, especially the car lighting up and the dragon's wings actually flapping. Pretty cool I must say!

Great for Kids Who Like to Build Things

This came in time for my older sons birthday and was a hit! Building it had challenges only because you have to unpackaged everything first! You need pieces from all of the bags for every step! Once together the chain slipped some but we got it running smoothly with some minor adjustments! Good experience overall!

I must start by saying this item is really very nice, I gave it four stars because it seams to be difficult to put together. My son-in-law and my grandson spent 4hrs. 30 min. to assemble, granted they may not be the best at this It comes with thorough instructions with pictures.. Once together it is extremely nice. The pieces are very intricate and it is a lot of them but they are sturdy. The box says recommended for starting age 7 my grandson is 10. It's over 11 feet of track, the dragon flaps it's wings and the car lights up. We have it out on a table visible for everyone to see so far all of his friends want to come in and explore it. We still have a few kinks that need to be worked but even I enjoy seeing the car go up the track and around. The car does not go continuously so we are going to see if we can fix that. My grandson loves to be on a phone or tablet playing games, I wanted this Dragon's Revenge to be a distraction from tech, It's helping. Thanks spark review.

Wow Nice toy

As always item came packed secure. This item contains 578 intricate pieces. The instruction book is laid out with great pictures and detail. It is best to separate all like pieces first, be sure to follow the directions closely. It took us quite some time to assemble, but once together it is very enjoyable. The car comes with batteries already installed and lights up as it climbs the tracks, the dragon flaps it wings up and down. You will need an additional 2 double A batteries for the motorized track. My grandson is 10 years old and is having fun exploring this adventure with his friends. Item is not recommended for children under 3 as some of the parts are very small. I myself am also enjoying this item. Thanks spark review program.

Wow great build it toy!

Directions were hard to follow. Once the chain was placed it did not work properly. Very disappointed little boy.
