The Ozark Trail Hazel Creek tent is water resistant.  There are two layers of protection.  The tent fabric itself is coated with a 1200mm coating.  The tent also includes a rainfly that provides a second layer of moisture protection.

AMAZING!!!Just returned from a 4 day glamping trip where we used this tent for the first time. It is very easy to pitch and take down no instructions needed we just reviewed the video on the Walmart. This tent is solid it stood up to 35mph winds and rain and no leaks. We did waterproof so I'm not sure if that helped. Its HUGE...we enjoyed it and are planning our next trip.

The tent is roughly 14x14 and it's pretty tall. My husband is 6'3 and he can walk around comfortably in it. Set up was very easy and we had all of the pieces. I ordered this tent back in May when it was $99 and honestly it was a steal. We are camping on a campsite next to water with high winds and it doesn't budge once staked down properly. If they made an insulated version of this I would get it in a heartbeat.

This tent is very spacious but it's a two person job to put up the tent properly. I wouldn't say it would fit 14 people. It's more like 10 kids but it does the job. I would suggest to put the rain fly on it while u are setting it up. I made the wrong decision and messed around and found out. It just proved God is in control and not the weather forecaster🤦🏽‍♀️

after reading the instructions,  the tent went up easily! came down easily as well. very roomy! i had a queen cot and 3 single cots with extra room for our stuff and changing, etc

Great family size tent!

I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. My husband set this tent up by himself in 15 min. We took the time to seam seal our tent (as you should with any tent). Absolutely no problem with it leaking, even in a shower.  I spilled a bottle of water in our tent one of the nights. Nothing a towel and shop vac couldn't handle. The tent is huge, and we love the ceiling height. My 6.2 husband can move around easily. The price was fantastic. Highly recommend this tent.

VERY BAD TENT ZIPPERS GET STUCK ALL THE TIME

Was a good tent but came with holes in it and it's rainproof. First night using it , it rained and we woke up with water coming in, coming in from everyplace especially the connecting seams! We had to keep towels in all corners to keep it dry as it was raining the entire weekend. Can't even get a refund or replacement! Not to mention directions aren't even that good, thankfully had service to upload a video on YouTube.. parts were mislabeled too! 
Suggestions, open before you go camping so you know how to set it up, leave out while it's raining to make sure it doesn't come through, if so buy the waterproof spray. You don't want to get in the middle of no where and be stuck.

Inspect as soon as you buy it, even if not camping

If there is any chance it will rain, do not get this tent! It leaks at the middle %26 bottom seam as well as doors %26 the floor! I got this 6 months ago but didn't use it until last weekend, now Walmart/Ozark Trails will do nothing because its outside of the 90 days. Our whole tent was soaked! The 1st image was after trying to dry it out all day.
