Got this for my 7yr old, but when i recieved it whoa, its bigger than i thought so i was going to bring it back, bit my 15yr old loved his old ripstik so he tried it and loved it, then my 17 yr old saw it and has totally fallen in love with it. Price wise it a steal for $40, it looks cool, its performance is up to par and the lights are a bonus aswell, battery life has been great so far. Great gift for Christmas to buy 2 and gift 1 less than $100. A steal... side note: the blue does jot have lights, only the red. And there seems to be no lack of power for both. My kids have hoverboards etc and this still had them smitten aswell as my younger kids, lol they just were to afraid to ride it, in time theyll be riding them too.

My teenage daughter loves this. We already has the non powered version of this so we thought this would be fun to try. It is definitely a learning curve but once u figure it out it is super fun. My daughter loves it.

My 10 year old Son enjoys this. Took A little while to get use to it. I do recommend a parent controlling the controller while the kid is getting the start up down. Also a low grade hill helps.

I bought this for a Toys 4 Tots company Christmas item.  I did not actually use the item though imagining being of age to use it I would have loved this.   Hopefully the receiver did too.

This thing was amazing! So much fun my friends and I loved it. Until it broke for no apparent reason. I was so sad that the controller wouldn't send the response to ripstik. Really Unfortunate I probably would not by this again unless they fixed the issue at hand.

Razor USA

I use this product for fun I don't do any tricks with it. I ride it on the smooth flat street outside my house but not the side walk. Multiple times when I ride on the sidewalk my front wheel gets stuck and my board flips. When on bumpy roads I find it very far from easy to control. The customer service person told me to buy a new rip-stick after the product just stoped working for no reason about 2 weeks after I got it. I used it about 5 times. I like the idea of the product but it is not that safe and breaks a lot. P.S. I am a very experienced rip-stick rider and I use them all the time and I have never ever had issues like this.

This product has many problems

It broke about 2 months after I got it for Christmas. At first it just stoped working. We called Razor since it was still under warranty  and they sent us to a shop so they could fix it. It stayed there for about 2 months then we got it back and it broke within 5 days. So we got a new wheel and got it to work for about a week then it broke again.

DONT BUY!!!

I bought one a few weeks ago and it just stopped working. Then I bought another one and it broke again!! Lasted 2 DAYS! Don't buy!

It is very jerky, and has a very big lag from when you push the button on the remote to when you move or brake. Also bc the front wheel is so small you can only ride it on perfectly smooth. It can not go from the street to the side walk bc it is to big of a bump up.
When I was riding it on a bumpy street I fell off and now I have a very big scab.

Its not a good investment.

The reviews for these are bad because they all break in a short time.  Ours broke in a few hours of use, and I know 2 other people who have them that broke.  The rear wheel locks up and won't turn.  There used to be tons of reviews on here that mentioned it, but they are all gone now.

These all break.
