It is not easy to assemble and the directions are NOT very clear for this model. I did think about returning it ..BUT finally managed to complete the assembly . There was an ad attached that said "free assembly", but of course no location or 800 #.I have only ventured out twice with it but the seat is somewhat comfortable and it is easy to handle. I haven't ridden a bike in 30 years so I am very careful. It has one speed and rear brakes and no "bells and whistles" which is good. I am using it strictly for exercise and not road or racing.....

All though it is a "Schwinn" the bike is made in China and it shows. The parts have a very loose tolerance and need to be adjusted in a vice at the minimal. The bolts provided are not what you need to complete the assemble. You'll need to go to the hardware store for those. Over all it is a nice bicycle for the price but it won't be easy to get it "nice" you need to know what to look at and what to upgrade or else nothing will ever get tight or right with the bicycle. Thanks China!! Makes me think about the future of the USA and it's inhabitants.

My new Swindler arrived well boxed and in perfect new condition and was very easy to assemble. I also bought the new Hodgson rechargeable HD headlamp and taillight as I like to ride after sunset. At 56 years old this has to be the best Cruiser bike I have owned to date. I could not be happier with the deal as you get a lot of bike for the buck.

I needed a bike for guys to ride that was big enough for 6ft-6'2" and this one is perfect. It's solid and sturdy, looks cool and retro too. My brother put it together in about 20 minutes. I highly recommend this bike for easy rides around midtown - no long distance or hilly rides since it's one speed. Upon delivery the box was opened, but I caught the UPS driver trying to put it over my iron fence and drop it to the ground before I stopped him! These drivers! Luckily, even with the box opened, all the pieces were there and unharmed since the bike is packaged so well. I would purchase this again for sure!

For $99, try to find a better 27.5 cruiser. I was a bit concerned after reading some negative reviews and having the item arrive with the box all torn up, but to my pleasant surprise, all parts were there and the bike had one little scratch on the frame but was otherwise in perfect shape. The front fender installation is a bit finicky, but use your head and figure it out. If you're not mechanically inclined, it might be an issue so find somebody to give you a hand. Otherwise, it took me 20 minutes to get the bike together. (I was too excited to get it rolling to repack bearings, but I'll get to it later.) The headset was a bit stiff, but loosened up with a little movement. I tightened the fork spring a few turns, lubed the chain and the kickstand (it has a kickstand!) and it was ready to ride. The stickers are chintzy and poorly-applied; I removed all of them and added a couple of my own. The front rim is slightly out-of-round; I'll true it up when I do the bearings. It's not a major issue. I happened to have an old Topeak rear rack and collasible baskets from an old bike lying around, and they fit without issue. $99 shipped. Let that sink in. It cost 1/12th of my commuter bike. This thing is made to cruise around the neighborhood. It rides over bumps like a '75 Coupe de Ville. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.Read full review
