Initially, I had an issue with the battery compartment, replaced the batteries and the unit is working as it should. Be aware, the first setting is longer than what I needed; due to my super concentrated liquid soap, about double the amount needed was delivered during the shortest pump. I cut the soap 50% with water and, now, it delivers the amount I am pleased with. I have only had the unit in operation for about 10 days, time will tell of its' quality.

At first this touchless dispenser worked great but gradually it started to malfunction. Sometimes the soap would come out for several seconds before turning off, then it would not work at all half the time. It became such a nuisance we finally got rid of it and went back to the push type dispenser. to bad because it was very handy when it did work. We have tried four different touchless soap dispensers and all of them quit working within 3 months.

Low quality, had to force/hammer the batteries in. Although the instructions say there is a low and medium setting, it all seems to be the same and ALOT of soap comes out (to the point of being wasteful). I guess I should be grateful it works at all though based on the other reviews.

You use way more soap even on the small drop than you would out of the pump bottles. They leak continually. It is a novel idea and the kids are there "sanitizing" every few minutes but even though the price was right for the product I will be going through soft soap twice as fast.

Yeah 8.99 sounds like a great deal. Bought this so my daughter would have fun washing her hands before bed. Lasted 1 week before the batteries exploded inside and got all over the counter. In the image the batteries are in the very bottom with no water/moisture seal. Don't waste 8.99 and have a great weekend!
