REI Garage, formerly REI Outlet, offers a deal of the day as well as a deal of the week. These are discounts on specific products above and beyond the regular discounted items. REI Garage also mails out coupons several times a year that can be used online.

As a coop, REI Garage offers a membership program that earns dividends for its members each year. However, REI Garage items and other discounted items are not included in the earnings. Members do get coupons that may be used at REI Outlet, though. A lifetime membership to the REI coop is $20.

REI Garage stands behind their products, and they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you aren't happy with your purchase, you may return the item by mailing it back, or you may even return it to a retail store. All returns must be made within a year of the purchase date. If you are an REI member, they will have your purchase details and no receipt will be required. If you are not a member, proof of purchase must be submitted along with the item.
