We are proud to be the pioneers in introducing original Lebanese cuisine to the Capital Region. Six years ago we turned our pizzeria on River Street in Troy into a small Lebanese restaurant after friends who had tasted my wife's home cooking encouraged us to do so. Now, in Cohoes, we are packaging and distributing our products to health and specialty stores throughout the region. We have been voted consistently Best Middle-Eastern Cuisine by many local publications, and are still voted number one for best falafel in the Capital Region.Falafel, well-known for its health benefits and its savory flavor, is a vegetarian patty made of ground chickpeas and spices, served with tahini sauce. It also may be served on a salad or wrapped in pita bread with fresh
