Historical Victorian Inn near Delaware River The Mansion Inn has stood along New Hope's Main Street for nearly 150 years. In fact, you might say the inn—built in 1865 by a local businessman for his beloved wife—is somewhat of a celebrity in town. Set amid landscaped gardens just steps from the Delaware River, the elaborate Victorian mansion has appeared in McCall’s Magazine and on TLC and has been the inspiration for several paintings. Intricate scrollwork accents the inn's veranda, which leads to a vintage arched doorway. The elegant, fully restored interior features red pinewood floors and original brass work. Most guest rooms are in the main house, though some are in the garden cottage. Each is individually decorated with period furniture. Many have a wooden four-poster bed, a gas or electric fireplace, a kitchenette, and a private porch. New Hope, PA: Historical To
