Chicagoans are wonderful actors -- we pretend that hot dogs are good for us, we act like the winters aren't that bad, and we tell everyone that this is our team's year. Further hone your acting and public speaking chops with today's deal from The Chicago Actors Studio: Pay $125 to land a role in the Acting as a Craft workshop, which includes ten weekly 3.5-hour classes (regularly $290). You'll be placed with a cast that has a similar level of experience -- beginner or advanced -- before you take the stage at this Bucktown venue. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you'll practice a broad range of fundamental acting components, including on-camera acting, cold reading, monologues, scene study exercises, and character development. You'll love the attention to personal development and your newfound ability to confidently stick to the script in office presentations, wedding toasts, and conversations about sports. Want more?
