Nothing gets a history buff's blood pumping like a good reenactment, but the Maryland Heritage Center at Landon House in Urbana is offering a deal on an event that'll really raise the dead: Pay $20 for a pass to the Haunted Living History Gala on March 3, April 7, or May 5 (regularly $40). This 12,000-square-foot former Confederate headquarters is offering a spirited party between 6 p.m. and 1 a.m. with presentations from paranormal groups, haunted tours of the Landon House, and live music that'll send your pulse racing. Your pass comes with two glasses of wine, so you'll be prepared to look the Landon's 258-year history in the face and scream, "It's alive!"
