Something has to give, and when nature impels us to don over-stuffed jackets just to check the mail, it should give something back in return. Accept nature's mea culpa with this Adventure: a day of skiing or snowboarding at Bear Creek with round-trip transportation, lift tickets, and board or ski rentals. We'll assemble at 30th Street and JFK Boulevard in Philly where our Starr Tours coach bus will be idling. On board we'll meet our guides for the day: LivingSocial staff who'll help with logistics and handle our queries. After a 90-minute ride we'll arrive at Bear Creek Mountain Resort, and either unload the equipment we brought along or head to the rental shop to pick up our gear. We'll get dressed, toss our goods into provided lockers, and receive our lift passes. For the next four hours we'll carve up the fresh powder of the mountain side, complete with six lift systems; 21 trails, slopes, and parks; and 86 acres of riding space.
