Want to kick off your day with a bang? Take aim at this Adventure: a forty-round shooting session followed by a tasting of four craft beers. Head to the Philadelphia Archery & Gun Club on Ellsworth Street, where our team of sharp shooters will be waiting to help us stay on target throughout the day. We'll have exclusive access to the gun range and, once the staff gives us the lowdown on safety, we'll each be outfitted with three kinds of semi-automatic firearms (including an AK-47, rifles, and pistols), eye and ear protection, and 40 rounds of ammunition. Once we're exhilarated and energized, we'll put the guns aside and take a 10-minute walk (be sure to dress accordingly) to nearby Brauhaus Schmitz -- an authentic German beer garden located near Washington Square West -- where we'll enjoy a guided tasting of four different seasonal beers.
