Socks and wood floors make it easy for your kid to "slide into second" in the living room, but if he or she'd like to see what the spring ball sensation is about, send your child to Koa Sports League. Get your girl signed up for the spring Mudcat Softball League (for grades two to eight) with practices starting the week of March 19 and Sunday games through May 20 for $135 (regularly $270). Or, enroll your son in the Koa Spartan Boys Baseball League from March 26 through June 3. The little guys play in the ACC Division (machine pitch for grades one to three) for only $137 (regularly $275); or sign up for the kid pitch Ivy League (grades four and five) or Colonial League (grades six and seven) for $197 (regularly $395).
