The kids are officially school-free for the summer, but their minds don't have to turn to mush. Take them to the Flint Hill Farm Agricultural Education Center in Coopersburg for some educational horsing around. For $70, bring little ones age 4 to 6 for a week of Kindercamp (regularly $140) to learn about feeding animals, growing crops, milking cows and goats, and to enjoy a host of outdoor crafts. Or, for $175, kids 7 to 15 years old can rope a week of Farm Camp or Horse Camp (each regularly $350) in July or August. Young environmentalists will love hands-on gardening and forestry projects, as well as special animal care and handling at Farm Camp, while eager equestrians can hone horseback skills with four hours of riding instruction and special projects, crafts, and shows at Horse Camp. This 28-acre horse-powered farm connects children to nature by fostering a special understanding of animals and agricultural growth, keeping the summer sufficiently stimulating. Want more? Visit Fli
