Look Good…Feel Better® is a program offered by the American Cancer Society that teaches beauty techniques to women who are actively undergoing cancer treatment to help them combat the appearance- related side effects of radiation, chemotherapy, and other cancer treatments. Come and learn tips for skin care, makeup application, hair and wig and nail care. All participants receive a free tote bag of cosmetics (valued up to $200). One per person. Next session is scheduled for Monday, December 8 from 1:30-3:30 pm.
I couldnt find anything on this site that there is any
cost at all to go here, what a great place for
cancer victims to take a breather. Also it doesnt
have a year, just says next class is Dec 8th, I linked
from the home page, give them a call to be sure its
for 2009.
