Details: The November 2008 models of MacBooks and MacBook Pros have reached their "End of Life" date. They're extremely comparable to the modern models, but you can save hundreds of dollars. To nab these deals, go to your local apple store and ask about their "end of life" deals.
MacBooks- 13.3" Aluminum Macbook, 2.0GHz/2GB/160GB/Nvidia GeForce Integration - $949
- You'll lose the SD card slot and longer battery life of modern model 13" MBPs, but this is a pretty serious savings if you were looking at the white macbook.
MacBook Pros- 15" 2.4 GHz/2GB/250GB/Discreet GeForce 9600GT - $1499
- You'll gain an express card slot but lose the longer battery life and slightly better processor of modern models. You gain the discreet card too! You need to pay much more to get that in the recent ones.
- 15" 2.66/4GB/320GB/Discreet - $1699
- Same as above, really.
- 17" 2.66/4GB/320GB/Discreet - $2k
- Gain crazy screen size for the price and an express card slot, lose battery life.
