Sears is advertising 15% off all appliances + an additional 5% off if you use your sears card. However, I feel it is very misleading (possibly even illegal) what they are doing. For example, they have a refrigerator that was originally $499 and it says now on sale for $399. However, when you add the item to your cart it comes up as $421 (because the extra 5% off you only get if you use a Sears card). If $399 is the price only with a sears card, than they should say that on the item page - not just list it as sale $399. What does everyone else think?

I agree wholeheartedly. They should advertise it as:
Price: $421.00
If purchased with Sears charge, take off an additional 5% and you pay only: $399.00

Interestingly enough, after I sent an email to Sears, they changed their prices to now reflect only the 15% off. However, they responded to my email by saying that I was the only one who contacted them regarding this isssue and they could not recreate the problem I was having. My guess is, once they realized their mistake, they corrected it but aren't willing to admit their mistake so they can't get into any legal trouble. At least they now have the correct prices on their website.
