It isn't cheap, but it has almost all of the software that you might need. Each program opens with its own tutorial and the speakers are built in.

If you really wanted a quad-core rather than dual-core processor, for the money spent, but Mac is a whole different world from PC. Their software is all 64-bit and highly optimized to perform with specific hardware configurations.
