Enter your date of birth, then on the second page fill out the form; they require your S.S. number and either a home or cell phone number to complete registration and at the bottom of the page where it says Re-ferral Code, use code: fst.

Your facecard is on its way. You should expect it in the mail in 7-10 business days. Once you get it, you’ll need to visit facecard.com and click on the activate button to begin using it.

Was about to sign up, but then I was reading in the terms and conditions that you have to keep using this card, or else they will charge you. Apparently you can't just use the $10 and throw the card away. They charge $4.95 if you go 90 days without loading any more money onto it. Correct me if I read that wrong.

I stopped for the same reason. That fee is ridiculous.

You use the card, then cancel within the 90 day period and you won't be charged.

Forget the fees...giving out your social security number online? I'd think again...

Any kind of payment processer like this is required by the US government to ask for your SSN just like banks. It is all part of the new legistlation after the 9/11 attacks. Just FYI.

Got my card yesterday........activated it today and it's giving me a $0.00 balance. I fired off an email to them. I'll post a reply if I ever get one.

Hello,

I am writing to you concerning an email you received from facecard yesterday. After getting feedback and having conversations with many members, we decided to load $10 onto your card upon activation whether or not you load $10 onto your card. You will see the funds on your card within 5 business days. We hope this $10 is just one of many ways facecard helps you enjoy the holiday season.

Enjoy the holidays.

I ordered it, but didn't bother activating it since I got an email telling me I had no funds in there.

I'm just going to stick with Green Dot. :)

The day after I activated the card, I got the $10, which I used, and it worked just fine, then I cancelled the card since I don't really need it, and that went fine as well.

Hmm interesting. I'll have to keep it handy when I need 10$.
