This is a scam.....Restaurant.com will sell your information to shoppingessentials.com and charge your CC $14.95/month. What service does this company provide, I have no clue. I just caught it after I bought a $2 gift certificate in April 2008.
Anyone pushing this info is probably an affiliate marketer for either of this scams and should be viewed as a "online predator".
No wonder people are skeptical of online purchasing with nuts pushing you to rip-off artists.
Sorry for these two companies (and anyone else involved in these scams)...they pissed off the wrong person.

I have been using this website restaurant.com for za couple years now and never had any problems. Everytime I want to use a coupon it has been accepted I just bought a $50 coupon for $10 to one my favorite places> thi swill save me $40 off the final bill. What is the downside to that?

i have used restaurant.com for over a year as well and have had no problems with being charged anythign but what i have authorized.
