Just bought one on-line. Spoke with Bestbuy service rep and In-Store pickup was not offered. In-Store price is $379 ($20 cheaper) but only 5 per store and so good-luck getting one this morning. Shipping is ~$20 so the grand total is ~$419. However, for this laptop, it's still a great deal and one of the best in terms of performance/price and comparable in terms of battery_life/price. Although I wish it was an Intel processor or at least a Turion, you'll have enough computer power with the QL. However, graphics are laptops' biggest glass-jaw and the 8200M graphics on this laptop is far superior to Intel's X3100 you'll find in most. Too bad it doesn't have hdmi/DVI. --Phot0n

Bought three of them for my kids Xmas 2008. As of October 2009, only one still working. Sent two of them back to HP and they claimed loose hinges are not a warranty issue and would not fix them. Loose hinges will cut into the internal video cable causing all sorts of viewing problems. They used sub-standard Loctite and the screws fall out of the laptop. This, according to HP, is not a defect but normal wear and tear. Last time screws falling out was considered normal was on a Yugo. This is the Yugo of the notebook world. Run from this deal, you'll be much happier for it. Considering the quality of service, don't buy HP. These people are thieves.
