LOL...We dont actually have paid advertisers per say. We are paid by companies such as Dell, Staples, Best Buy, etc however they do not send us ads to post on our site. We search all of their sites' daily for the best deals to post here on DealCatcher. I'll admit 5 days out of 7 there is usually a Dell deal posted but that's because they are normally what our users are most looking for. We have joked in the past that we should change our name to DellCatcher but I think Dell may have a problem with that. We do post many other deals daily including clothing & apparel, baby items and even deals for Apple. Thanks for the question!

You don't have paid advertisers "per say" yet you say that companies like Dell, Best Buy, and Staples do pay you. That sounds like at "Bushie" statement to me!

I guess what I meant to say was that they did not send us that system and pay us for the spot like you would normally think of with a "paid advertiser". I found that deal on their weekly deals page and thought it was good enough to post as catch of the day for our users....if people who see it agree and actually buy one we do earn commission on the sale.

Yeah me too. If Dealcatcher generates a sale, they get paid. Seems like a good deal for everyone.

I have purchased probably a dozen Vostros, they are great machines and I haven't heard had anyone complain. This is a fantastic deal, I would tweak the video card and you're good to go. Not to mention Dell is pretty much the last computer manufacturer that offers XP.

Speaking of commission-- hey Kevin how much money did you guys make off posting the 3-in-1 coffee maker/toaster oven/pancake griddle that Wal-Mart had? I'm still waiting on my check from you guys for the dazzling review I wrote about that outstanding piece of American Ingenuity... ;)

What Dealcatcher is doing is more common than people know - and yes, it is transparent - EXACTLY like it should be!

They take the time to hunt down the deals for us, what's wrong with them getting a few bucks when we purchase a machine??? Nothing in my book.

Good work guys - as always! (except with the Best Buy Wednesday deals .... those were a flop! LOL)

I appreciate this site. I have bought 2 pc's using it. If you don't like it, I would suggest you don't visit it. Whoever runs it probably spends a lot of time updating constantly and if they get a few $$ who cares??
