Details: According to Gizmodo, Circuit City will allow customers that purchased an HD DVD within the last 3 months to trade in their HD DVD for a Blu-ray player, paying the price difference if any, or give them a gift card.

I called my local one in Auburn NY and they confirmed it is true. Must have receipt from circuit city to get the deal. Sucks I bought mine at Wal-Mart...maybe they will match that deal? Guess I should call...

I bought my HD-DVD, 10 months ago from a Circuit City here in Madison, WI. The gave me a FULL credit for the unit, and I put it towards a PS3. Amazing!
