K5 -> RE: DHL sucks, too slow (1/18/2008 4:49:22 AM)

No offense but if you had a DHL package shipped from Tennessee on the 10th of January and you are expecting delivery on the 13th, sorry to say, but that is not considered slow. Now, if the package was shipped next day air/overnight, yes, you are entitled to a refund, but if your package was shipped via ground, then you should not be complaining. DHL is actually much faster than UPS and no, I don't work for them. UPS ground is THREE business days from California (Los Angeles) to Seattle. Remember, UPS/DHL/Fed Ex/ do not deliver ground packages on weekends (the post office does on Saturday). Also the first day you ship is not considered one of the days. For example, if I had a package shipped to me from Los Angeles on a Monday, I would not get it here in Seattle until the third day (Thursday). I have had packages shipped DHL ground from the mid-west and east coast, and have had them in two days. I do a lot of shipping and ship out DHL over UPS as often as I can but don't have much say in how they get shipped to me, but trust me, if you had something shipped from Tennessee DHL ground on the 10th, and you are getting it on the 13th, you should be quite pleased with that. I ship to Tennessee from Seattle via UPS (when the customer requests it) and it takes seven days exactly to get there (seven calendar days). K5
