I guess nobody shops in-store anymore, i seen Wii in almost in all electroinics stores in my area.....i don't get Wii...I played it for 2 minutes and felt my IQ drop 50 points...it's stupid simple entertainment...nobody i know has a wii ...it's all ps3 or 360's

Don't waste your time on a Wii. Wiis lose their fun very quickly. I would recommend getting a PS3 as it has some great games and has a built in Blu-Ray player. Best value and is upgradeable. You cannot upgrade the Wii at all.

i want a wii also been trying to get one but every time i try to get one in stores it seem everyone in mayfair area is buying them up so that i don't get one at all or like buying extras for what i don't know so like people who live in mayfair phila. pa. area please stop buying them and let me just get one ok then you can go buy as many as you want

C'mon people, don't call something stupid just because you don't like it. Wii is a revolution. It opens up new ideas and the way people experience in video games. Remember how big and stupid the first generation computers look like?

Any time a console (like the Wii) caters some to housewives, old people, and other people who think it's neat because it helps them get exercise, it is not what I consider a real gaming console. Period end of story!

If Wii is so stupid then how come it outsold PS3 and Xbox360? Funny thing is it did all that while facing problem with its own suppliers.
Stores in New York City are filled with PS3 and Xbox and yet Wii is still hard to find. It goes off the shelf so fast.
I am an IT Manager, been in IT for 15 years and I hate computer games, console games and everything and anything related to games where you just sit in front of a tv or a pc and dont move your butt for hours.
I tried Wii at Nintendo's store at Rockefeller and within 2 min I was hooked. Its based on a very old sensor technology thats been around for as long as I remember. Everyone remembers the motion sensor outdoor lights? Right? The point is to use the technology to create innovative games that people other than geeks and nerds can play is awesome.
As for fading...everything fades after a time. We get bored with things easily.

IF you go to the gamestores and see boxes sitting around...they are empty. don't think that just because they have boxes everywhere that they have them in stock. They are most likely sold out still.
