dont go crazy over the wii.i got it andd it was fun the first month. but then it got so boooooooooooring. nintendo has no good games for the wii. no shooters. nothing. just fantasy and mario games. now i have the xbox360 and it rocks. i got it on amazon for 275 with a 20gb hard drive. get it while it last!!!! im not talking about the wii.

Point some trying to make is WII is not for gamers. It's for vocational player, old people, childrens, etc.
Sadly I do agree, I cannot think of one hardcore game on the Wii ... say Gears of War on X360, Metal Gear on PS3, etc.

True - people that play and buy the Wii have a personality and a social life. PS3, Xbox, and PC gamers are truly nerds.

That's the dumbest @ss comment I've read on these forums in some time. You sound like a little arrogant, snooty, holier than thou Apple/Mac toady. For you information buckaroo, the PS3 does more than play excellent games. If you come down off your Wii Utopian cloud, you'll see it's a great central part of a home entertainment system that can play BD movies (or regular DVDs), CDs, MP3s, home movies, be a picture viewer, internet surfer, chat roomer, voice over IP communication device, PC/laptop extension, and many other things that the Wii could never dream of.
But besides that, serious gaming (yes, SERIOUS gaming - not some romper room Barney the purple dinosaur crap) that the PS3 and Xbox 360 can offer has been proven to improve hand-eye coordination and response times in 30-40 something people like myself who are getting up there in age. If I want to exercise, I'll get out of the house and ride a bike in fresh air and not look like a complete Richard Simmons dork at home in front of a TV. Take that!
