Hello, I received this product today. I applied to my dogs at 1:15pm. at 3:30pm, we were at the VET office because this product poisoned my dogs. My dogs had A LOT of heavy saliva and drooling without end. I followed the directions of the package, and it's the right doses for my dogs. DO NOT USED THIS PRODUCT. I had to pay the vet $106.00, and I almost loose my dogs. <<<<POISON>>>>

Sorry about your pup. It might have been an alergic reaction.

I am using Frontline Plus on my new pup, she is almost 4 months old.

I found this weird link, I think it is a joke petition:

No, he or she is a different person. My dogs used the 29Lbs. tube. But they had the same symptoms. One (the skinniest) drooled, vomited and had seizures too. The other Beagle (2lbs heavier) had the saliva and drooling. I was with them when this happened, so I called the Vet in the fist five minutes. Twenty minutes later, we we were at her office. I didn't use any other product prior or after the sergeant's. They were treated for poisoning.

I am so upset, we used this product for our german shepard and within one hour she was shaking all over, can't stand up, foaming at the mouth, and weasing. I have carried her to the vet but we don't know if she will make it yet. I can't believe they allow products to be sold that can injure and kill our animals. I wish I had researched this product before using. DO NOT USE THIS!!!! TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THE VET INSTEAD PLEASE!!! And for those of u who say "we have used it before" well so have we the package contained 6 doses and it was the 6th dose (taken as instucted) that affected her.

I have heard of this before. We just recently were at the vets office getting our dogs their shots when a cat was rushed in after using Hartz squeeze on and it died while were there. The Vet warned us never to use the Sergeants or the hartz squeeze on that for some reason this is common problem especially with cats. Thank goodness we have always used fronline plus on all our animals.

What really bugs me that if the Vet Says this is a common problem then why the heck are this products still allowed on the market??????

About 12 years ago Hartz had the same problem. The only thing they did was send an a apology letter and if you sent them your vet bills, they would reimburse you. I lost a dog to them and my sister lost her cat. From then on I watch the ingredients. PYRETHENS!!!!! That is what kills the animal. IT is the same chemical you put on your lawn and then don't let your kids play on it. I have since stopped all chemicals. I only use Irish Spring bath soap. I have not had a flea or tick problem since. The lanlolin in the soap keeps the bugs away. This is something I learned while visiting in the south. My new dog is 11 now and I have never had a bad flea problem in all those years. Read all the chemical packages first. If a human can not lick their fingers afterwards then why should you make your pet?

Sergeant's Gold and SentryPro XFC "Allergic" Reactions and Deaths happen Daily see the below news report and websites with all the fellow sufferers.
Been through it with two Pugs, it was like watching them die for three days straight. This is not a allergic reaction. There is something wrong with their Sergeant Products and instead of taking it off the shelves the continue to make Pet Parents like You and I watch our pet children suffer.

Please everyone read this PDF file. Sergeants knows they are causing Suffering and Deaths to Pets!!! All along they are taking in Financial Profits off of our horrific experiences.

http://epa.gov/pesticides/health/spot-on-meeting-may2009.pdf

Coupled with the horrific experience of watching your Pet suffer, Sergeant’s Pet Care Products, Inc is creating great financial hardships (emergency vet visits and medications) for their customers
during a time when Good People who love their Pets cannot afford one more bad thing to happen to them.

Sergeant’s Products were taken off the shelves at the Walmart in my region, that makes me extremely happy to know one more innocent Pet or hard working loving family will not have to suffer while your company makes a financial profit.
