Not sure offhand when flipflops will move to clearance, but if I had to guess, I'd think not for a while since they're summer items. Anything's possible, though.

Hi, I don't know if this helps anyone... but I got an offer from AE for 20% off within 7 days of my birthday (or family member's) using the AE Credit Card.. It doesn't have my name on it or anything, so it should be fine for others to use as long as you have a birthday coming up [:)]

Thanks for the contribution! However, you don't need a coupon to use the birthday discount; all you need is an All-Access Pass and proof of your birthdate. Customers without an AE credit card can receive a 15% discount (20% with an AE credit card) during a period seven days before to seven days after your birthday (ie: 3/23 is your birthday, so your discount period is 3/16-3/30). Family can also take advantage of the same 15% or 20% discount as long as they're along with the All-Access Pass holder and can prove their birthdate.

I personally love taking advantage of this because my birthday is 12/27. So I can get 20% off all the after-Christmas sale prices plus I always have a gift card or two to use, too!

Yup. Anyone with an All-Access Pass will get 15% off the week before and the week after your birthday; you just have to mention it to the cashier and show ID to prove the date.

Don't forget to order AE online through your mileage plan as most have a mileage plan points with AE. I have tons of Alaska Airlines miles because of my shopping and no flying! An extra 'bonus'.

Also, it says the flip flops are buy one get one 50% off but when I add two pairs to the cart and also enter the code, the 50% off for the second pair doesn't show. I did email AE about this and will let you know when I receive a response.

hmmmm..... it might be because the promotion hasn't started yet. I remember back when i I recieved the "Free Spring Break Bag" offer in the mail. I recieved the offer in the mail over the weekend but the offer didnt start till tuesday.

Hiya and welcome back! My understanding from the powers that be is that in order to post in this thread, you have to be registered; no guests allowed! Certainly makes it easier to report any issues and get them dealt with properly.

well just wanted to let everyone know that thanks to sara, me and my friends purchased over 30 bras from aerie because it was basically risk-free even if you didnt know which style you wanted, what color, what size, how it felt,etc cause basically we all ordered a few styles in a few colors. and if you dont like them, they were free shipping TO YOU and also free shipping to RETURN IT back to american eagle. thanks sara! keep up the good codes! :)

From what I've heard, this buy-1-get-1-50% off thing is going on in stores already. I've also heard there is an expiration date of 04/04/2007. I tested it this morning on AE.com, and no luck; two pairs of flip-flops were added to the cart and both remained at full price.

my bf also received the 10% discount and my brother received nothing; in the past my bf and i have accumulated enough pts for the 40% discounts, so do you think that because we spend more at ae (enough to get the 40% discs) we get less discount offers or we get smaller discount offers like this? in the past, my brother who hasn't accumulated enough for 40% has received coupons that neither my bf or i received

i just think it's weird...
