I have a maxtor 3200, 300 gb external hard drive. I love it and I'm using to store my soldiers info ect. but somehow i lost the driver, so when I plug it in, it wont show up on my cpu what do i need to do

I have a problem with my maxtor personal 3200 300GB. The problem is the computers ask for a faster usb hub to open it. how can i repair it using software for reinstallation so that i would not loose data.

It's definitely AC Adapter problem. There's no doubt about it. I've checked if it's virus problem or driver problem. Big NO. The problem is in capacity. If you start to use more ten 20 gb of your 300gb small engine in your harddrive needs more power and this Power **** supplier is not supplying enough power. That's the problem :).

I have this good storage device and it never gives me problem untill, I formatted my labtop together with its contents. The problem is I want to retrieave my old informations from the formated drive. How do I go by it. Second, if the power cable is broken can I rejoin it or how can I get a new one to buy.

Hi.
I had a Macbook and had put all my photos, music, files, etc on my Maxtor 3200. Now I am trying to use a PC and transfer the files because my Mac broke down. Luckily i backed everything up, but now i can't access it. I lost the software CD for the hard drive. Can I download this somewhere. Will the Hard Drive work with both Mac and PCs?
