So I decided to install the new Apple Boot Camp Beta to dual boot Windows XP on my Mac. Everything went great then I got this after using it for about an 30 mins. This photo reminds me of this funny video on YouTube.

Yup I just finished all the Windows updates and rebooted like 5 times. Everything was great then I I clicked the USB devices icon listed in my computer and I got a blue screen. Back to OS X, either way its still pretty cool that Apple released this software.

Just a pedestrian observation -

MSKSSRV.SYS - the sound driver - something about the MS Sound driver and the USB overlapping or in conflict?

Thats what I've read, I haven't had the problem since but I also haven't spent to much time in Windows since I installed it yesterday.

Steps to Reproduce this (or a very similar) BSOD on intel iMac:

1. Boot into Mac OS X - this wakes up the iSight USB camera
2. Reboot into Windows without turning off the Mac (turning it off/back on apparently disables the iSight in Windows, and it won't wake back up unitl you go into OS X)
3. Control Panel > Scanners and Camers > USB Video
4. If you haven't BSOD'd yet, click whatever option you see
5. Enjoy your BSOD.

Definitely a USB memory stomp, but the sound device is also USB.

seems to be more of a hardware related IRQ conflict...macs use USB sound cards?

This BSOD is quite familiar to me.

This is a problem with iSight. On the bootcamp page apple says iSight is NOT supported.
