I love the new NANO so small and the screen makes it perfect, although I wish they would have introduced an IPOD Video.

Oh man, I just got 2 shuffle (half gig version) for myself and my girlfriend, wish I waited another 3 months for the nano. I honestly didn't know about it.

Well, still love my shuffle, but having a small LCD does help sometimes.

Some specs given are wrong. The 2GB only holds 500 songs and the 4GB holds 1000.

store.apple.com then select education store, or go to your Apple store and show student or teacher ID. The online store doesn't ask for ID, so anybody can get the discount. Who doesn't have at least one student or teacher in the family?

It isn't a "deal". However if you go to the Apple site and logon as a student, you can get the Nano at a 20% discount INCLUDING free engraving.
